Entering the main rooftop will trigger the fight to start. The doors will close, you can't run.
Lindworm will frequently send you waves of enemies. During this, he cannot be harmed, fight him with all you can in between those waves.
Keep potions ready to heal up.

Gate
Stepping through this gate will end the game. You and your party will board an airship and leave Isle Nex for good.
However, you still see the island master look at you while you leave... still kindof disappointed.
